WebIt may take some getting used to, but I highly suggest switching to using R1/L1 instead of R2/L2 if you decide to give holding a shot. Not only is it way more comfortable, it activates more quickly in my experience and the buttons themselves don't wear out as quickly as triggers.. R1/L1 with EXHB and WXHB is really the only way to go for controller use, IMO.
