My impressions so far would tend to mirror that somewhat. I will give the minimum phase filter a bit more of a try with that sort of music. It adds a course, sandpapery sound to the upper midrange and treble which tries to sound analogue but instead just sounds very irritating, fatiguing and inaccurate.
